YOU MATTER
ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
Who am I? How did this start? And why should you care?
Hello! My name is Emily LeFevre. I'm a Utah native and student at Brigham Young University, a grilled cheese connoisseur, bibliophile, writer, musician, and lover of all things lavender and vanilla. I'm also a pro-life advocate and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This initiative originally started as a "what if?" assignment for one of my courses at Brigham Young University. As part of an assignment to create a blue-print for an initiative that would make the world a better place, I selected to create a campaign about the pro-life movement. "But," I thought to myself, "why stop there? If I'm going to start an initiative, I might as well actually use it to make the world a better place."

Why should you care? Abortion hurts all of us; people of all genders, races, sexual orientations, religious beliefs, and economic backgrounds. Abortion hurts all people. As you participate in this initiative, you will be able to develop your own opinions and equip yourself to make a difference in the lives of those around you. Your life matters. Minority lives matter. People, everywhere, matter. Pre-born lives matter. Life is a gift, and I hope you'll find ways to defend and protect it through your participation in this initiative.
