Recently, politicians have accused the pro-life movement of being based on religion. While many religions emphasize the study of doctrine that advocates pro-life sentiments, this statement marginalizes those who support the pro-life movement for reasons that are non-religious. Science, too, can provide meaningful insight and information for the pro-life movement and, ultimately, supports the notion that human life matters from the beginning.
